Talking options with Larry McMillan was a real honor. The guy is a legend! He clued me in to the 4 technical signs that he uses to judge the health of the markets: VIX, put-to-call ratio, breadth, and finally the $SPX (some times the Russell 2000). The markets were extremely volatile when this interview took place, but I did not get the feeling that worried him in the least. Perhaps this was even an ideal trading situation for him.
