Portfolio Recap: Dec. 6, 2007

Here comes the daily list of the Good, The Bad, and the Ugly. Mortgage bail-out news sent the markets soaring and took the Portfolio with it; up an average of 13.6%.
THE GOOD:
BRAZIL
- everything Brazil was up nicely.
Altius Mineral ALS.TO - Up 2 cents. But if they say the word refinery today, it will be up 50 cents.
Ansys ANSS - Was downgraded by Duetche Securities to hold, from buy, on Thurs. The stock was off 1.2%.
Anadarko Petrol APC - Up another 3.3% on a big day for energy stocks.
ART Tech ARTG - A report was released that their product, eStara, produced significant return on investment. Click HERE for the story. The stock was up 4.3% on the day.
Capella CPLA - Bank of America intiated coverage on the whole group of education stocks, giving CPLA a neutral rating. The stock was still up 1.7%.
Devon Energy DVN - Continues rise off of the nice Nat Gas inventory report, up 3.9%. Devon declared their dividend. Click HERE for details.
Encana ECA - Up 2.5% for the day
Florida Power & Light FPL - The stock was down 2.3%. Requested to add capacity to Palm Beach County. Click HERE for the story.
Frontier Oil FTO - Down, unlike the rest of energy, 0.8%. A filing stated that a director sold 40,000 shares, after exercising options. Click HERE for details.
Kinder Morgan Energy KMP - Their pipeline is done! Click HERE for the story.
OptionsXpress OXPS - Announced it will be offering a dividend, click HERE.
Transocean RIG - Up 5.4% on the day. RIG announced the details of the convertible note offering, click HERE.
Urban Outfitters URBN - Up another 6.4%. This retailer is the toast of the town.
THE BAD: Nothing bad enough to mention.
THE UGLY: Reserved for the most precipitous falls from grace.
United Online UNTD - Two Straight up days?! Where is this coming from?
